Training Assertiveness (English)

After this training you will

• Become aware of what hinders your assertiveness and how to change this into effective behavior
• Communicate more assertively and be better able to express your opinions
• Appear more confident in your interactions with others
• Be able to set boundaries and say no

Audience

This training is developed for all who wish to be more forthright about their needs and wants. You want to be more in control of your personal and professional life by making your way of communicating more effective.

Approach

An interactive training in which practical theory is related to personal experiences. Developing assertiveness starts with a good understanding of who you are and a belief in the value you bring. The theory is based on 3 levels where change is desirable: cognitive, emotional and behavioral. Participants share experiences and best practices.

Throughout the entire training trajectory, our online learning platform (e-Connect) will be available. Here you will find extra exercises, information and the means to communicate with the trainer and share experiences with other participants.

Classroom teaching

You follow the meetings from this program in class on location. Our teaching locations are located throughout the Netherlands. When registering you can specify your preferred location. If there are not enough registrations for your preferred location, we will offer an alternative location. This way we can ensure that you have enough fellow students to learn from each other.
